Name 5 integration Points between the Oracle eBusiness Suite and the Desktop…. go!

Here’s my ten:
1) j-Initiator launch
2) workflow and mail client (as in notifications)
3) export to excel (as in (N) File > Export)
4) attachments – loading and accessing
5) web ADI – create a spreadsheet
6) upload a journal from a web ADI spreadsheet
7) export to printer (as in (N) File > Print)
8) define and upload rates in the new currency rates manager (aka another clown suit for Web ADI)
9) every single fun thing in Client-Server ADI
10) ditto for Discoverer 😉

Don’t you love sociability testing with multiple desktop SOEs?

  1. Your blog is great! It’s hard to find blogs with good content and people talking about Ebusiness these days! I have a secret Ebusiness Exposed if you want to come check it out

  2. I would like to add another integration point between Excel and the Oracle General Ledger called GL Wand.

Perhaps, I am biased cause I am the co-founder of excel4apps but still we have no unhappy customers and there is a free trial available for download.

  4. Actually, I had some training on the GL Wand a couple of weeks ago and I must say I was impressed – it has a very slick connection through to the database (no archaic SQL*Net in sight!) and I was pleasantly surprised at how much it did… I might get to kill off my FSGs yet 🙂
